Firewise

We are learning how to be Firewise. Today the Fire Service came into school to talk to us about how we can stay safe at home and at school, There were discussions about safe meeting places and the importance of knowing your home address if you need to call 111. We learned that some things are tools and not toys, such as matches, candles and lighters. The firemen also stressed the importance of having working smoke alarms in our homes.
