Jellyfish Bloom

As part of our sea creatures inquiry we found out an interesting fact about jellyfish - a large group of jellyfish is called a bloom. This happens when jellyfish find a place that is safe from predators and has lots of food. Some blooms can have hundreds of thousands of jellyfish. We made our own jellyfish bloom in Room 7.......

Sea Creatures

This term our inquiry learning is about sea creatures. The children have had free choice about what sea creature they want to study. So far we have learned about orcas, whale sharks, jellyfish, puffer fish, sea horses and sea eels! Here are photos of our lovely artwork......

The mum seahorse lays her eggs into a pouch on the daddy seahorse and he looks after the eggs.   Bella
